Welcome To Abita Springs, Louisiana
Come See Why Abita Springs Motto is “Where Nature Performs Miracles”
Winding country roads lead visitors a few miles outside of the Covington/Mandeville area to a quaint little place in the woods called Abita Springs. This little town gets its name from the fresh water artesian spring that bubbles up in the middle of the center of town and has less than 2,400 residents after the 2010 Census. It provides residents with a simpler way of life while allowing easy access to other larger cities in St. Tammany Parish.
This picturesque town of Abita Springs offers guests a unique mix of shopping and activities. A park, trailhead pavilion and museum all sit on the town’s slice of the Tammany Trace and are available to rent for special occasions. There is also the Abita Mystery House and UCM Museum. But, one thing you will definitely want to sit in on is Friday night bingo at the town hall. Yes, there are people on Earth that still enjoy their neighbors enough to gather for a few laughs and friendly competition on a Friday night!

This amazing restaurant in Abita Springs is well worth the drive from anywhere around. It combines fresh local seafood and game, and the menu includes some sauces that use the beers crafted just up the road.
